Check out these super cute scissors I spotted on Mod Podge Rocks! (one of my favorite crafting blogs). I don't know how well the idea would work out for embroidery / stitching scissors, but you could certainly gussy up a pair of regular fabric scissors.

Ohh, I like these. I have some kiddie scissors that I could try this on. (Yeah, they won't let me use the really sharp ones.)

Have you tried this yet? I don't have any scissors where the pivot isn't down on the blades, so it would be more painful for me to do. I am toying around with the idea of going out and buying some inexpensive scissors just to be able to try this technique. :)
