The Hard Way by Julie Luongo, available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and other fine retailers.
Julie and I went to grad school together and I've seen this work in many, many variations, drafts, outlines, etc., and it just kept getting better and better. I am so unbelievably proud of her and I know it's going to be a huge success. I was thrilled to open my package from Amazon yesterday and see the finished product in my hands, and I got an email a little while ago from another friend who ran across it in a B&N in New York. Very exciting stuff, I tell you.
This is also my 100th post, so in honor of that as well as my friend and her fabulous book, I will give away a copy autographed by the author herself to a randomly selected commenter on this post. I'll leave it open until Monday, June 2, to give everyone a chance to get in on it.

A book, possibly a free book? You know I am SO there. Let's hope the random number generator blesses me. After all I did get an Advanced Reading Copy of a book on gaming from LibraryThing. But then again, I am up against "Lucky Anna". LOL.
This is SOOOOOO COOL! Congrats to your friend. She must be very talented :o) No wonder you are proud of her!
Please enter my name in your contest. I'd love to have a good read :o)
Congrats on your 100th post!!
I don't need to go in the draw because Amazon has shipped my copy, yay!!!!! Being on the other side of the world I'll have to wait a week or so but I am absolutely hanging out for it. Hope it arrives on a day that I'm home and the kids are behaving. I can see a DVD marathon in their near future ;) If I choose carefully I could get 2 hours barely interupted reading time. (O.K, off to join the Bad Mothers Club now).
Congratulations on your friend's success - I hope her writing career is long and illustrious!
Oh. And please sign me up for the drawing. ;)

Hello Jennifer,
Tomorrow I will post Julie's book to go to Teresa, the next reader.
I must confess I didn't finish the book. I started in it twice, but it simply isn't 'my kind of book'. I read a lot of English books, so the language isn't be the problem ... I find the conversations etc. very tiring, no relaxing book for me!
I am sorry to tell you this ... But that's how it is. I hope Teresa will like it though!'
Thanks again for your generosity in sending me the book, I really appreciate that.
Have a nice day & hugs, Carolien
